 I decided to bake on this rainy day. Piglet jr was there to help me and we had so much fun! Strawberry cupcakes with cream cheese frosting is super easy to make and yummy!

splurge vs steal

 I have been lusting over the Isabel Marant Manly booties since I first saw them on Monica Rose's blog back in August? But of course these boots are sold out everywhere with the exception of ebay. They are so beautiful! They come in 3 lenghts; ankle (Mony) knee (Manly) and thigh (Meora). I especially love the cream/white ones in the knee or thigh high length!! Now that the weather is somewhat chilly (sometimes) during the evenings, I want to wear these! *sigh. So I was looking on steve madden and found the Badgess. I know SM has knocked off the dicker booties as well and knew they would do a version of the Manly. Its just not the same, but it is a fraction of the cost. Maybe I can do some DIY project, it seems easy enough, just need to find the right pair of boots!

 Lovely Chanel was my inspiration today. I have been anxiously waiting to wear my glorious vintage Chanel earrings and today I finally did. I wore my knit blazer with gold chain details that match  my Chanel bag, keeping it simple with black wedges, faux leather shorts and a beige sheer top. I could only wear the earrings for a few hours though because they're clip-ons and they hurt :(
